Our latest beauty from Ethiopia is for all you lovers of fruit-forward natural processed coffees. The quality of this coffee is fantastic - our importer, Coffee Shrub, gave it a lofty 92 point rating - but what's special about this lot is that it is certified organically grown and traceable to the farm (which is historically rare in Ethiopia).
We love the intense fruitiness of this coffee, featuring classic notes of blueberry and chocolate, with additional complexity such as mulled apple cider with cinnamon and nutmeg and a hint of aromatic wood.
Roasted light, we are dropping this coffee right around 400 degrees F at a development ratio of about 18%, which gives this coffee ample room to showcase its unique flavor profile without any heavy-handed roast flavors getting in the way.
